NEW FLORIDA SNOW PARK UNVEILS OFFICIAL NAME, LOGO, AND RENDERINGS

Dade City, Florida (December 5, 2019) The first and only alpine snow park in Florida unveiled its official name, logo, and renderings of the park during a special sneak peek event.

Slated for opening in November 2020, the one-of-a-kind alpine snow park – Snowcat Ridge – will feature a massive snow tubing hill, Alpine Village, and a ten thousand square foot snow play dome.

The snow tubing hill will be 60 feet tall and 400 feet long, with a magic carpet lift that will whisk riders and their snow tubes to the top of the hill. Guests can ride in a single, tandem, or 6-person family tube to slide down the snow-covered slope.

“Our team has been working very hard over the last few years to bring our alpine snow park to reality. Snowcat Ridge will be unlike anything anyone has seen before in the Sunshine State, and we are incredibly excited to unveil our vision for the new alpine snow park today,” said Benjamin Nagengast, CEO of Snowcat Ridge.

In the snow dome guests can build snowmen or snow castles out of real snow. The snow dome will also include a child-sized snow hill for younger guests.

“Some folks think it’s impossible to experience snow tubing and the joy of snow in Florida. But our team is all about making the impossible, possible. The new alpine snow park will be unique in all regards, and our team is thrilled to be launching in November 2020,” said Mark Bremer, Creative Director of Snowcat Ridge.

Snowcat Ridge will also feature a magical light show during the evenings on both the snow hill and inside of the snow dome.
