ICE SKATING RIBBON!

The Crystal Ribbon is an outdoor ice skating ribbon and beginner oval. Ice skating is the quintessential winter pastime and now you can enjoy it right here at Snowcat Ridge. Lace up your skates and get ready to glide across the ice under Florida’s sunny skies during the day and under our magical music and light show at night!

Each General Admission ticket includes all-day access to the Crystal Ribbon. The VIP Fast Pass upgrade includes access to the ice skate rental pick-up VIP Fast Pass lane, for quicker ice skate rental pick-up. Ice skates are not included, but may be rented separately or guests may bring their own. A General Admission ticket is required for all guests 2 years old and older.

  • Ice skaters must be at least 2 years old.
  • Skates must be worn at all times while on the ice.
  • To maintain the ice surface in ideal conditions the Crystal Ribbon will temporarily close for ice resurfacing at the top of every hour, at which time all guests must exit the Crystal Ribbon for up to 15 minutes until ice resurfacing is completed. The freshest ice surface will always be found immediately after the ice resurfacing is completed. 
  • The capacity of the Crystal Ribbon is limited. Should the Crystal Ribbon reach maximum capacity, additional guests will be admitted to the Crystal Ribbon when the number of guests on the Crystal Ribbon has reduced below capacity. 
  • Ice is very slippery and skaters must use caution to avoid a slip and fall.
  • Customers may bring their own ice skates or rent them either online or on-site. All-day ice skate rental is $9.95 and rental ice skates are available in child-size 9 up through adult-size 15. General admission is sold separately and is not included with ice skate rental. Socks must be worn while wearing rental ice skates and can be purchased at the ice skate rental counter.
  • Helmets are recommended for skaters but are not required. Customers may bring their own helmets or rent them on-site. All-day helmet rental is $5.95.
  • A limited number of ice skating training aids are available for on-site rental. Ice skate training aids are great tools for training beginner skaters. 2-hour ice skate training aid rental is $10.95. Ice skating training aids may only be used by beginner skaters in the skating oval area, and may not be used on the main ice ribbon pathway.
  • All-day locker rental is available for $5. Lockers measure 12″ wide, 15″ deep, and 24″ tall. Lockers are first come, first serve.
  • Observe all ice rules, demonstrate safe and courteous behavior, and be considerate of other skaters at all times.
  • Entry onto the ice must be made through specified access points in the sideboards. Do not enter or exit the ice by climbing over the sideboards. Emergency exits may only be used in an emergency.
  • Always skate in the approved direction of travel. Do not skate across traffic.
  • Always skate at a controlled and comfortable speed. Skaters must be able to stop or avoid other skaters at all times. Weaving in and out of other skaters is prohibited.
  • No food, beverages, or chewing gum are allowed on the ice.
  • After a fall, the skater should get up as quickly as possible to avoid injury to or from passing skaters.
  • Look out for other skaters and always be alert.
  • Skaters must leave the ice in order to make adjustments to skates and/or equipment.
  • No spitting on the ice.
  • Do not carry children or articles on the ice.
  • Do not sit, stand, or leave articles on the sideboards.
  • Cell phone use while ice skating is prohibited. If taking a photo, please stop skating and move to the edge of the ice.
