At Snowcat Ridge, we have specific guidelines to ensure all guests with service animals are supported throughout their visit. Our service animal guidelines are based upon those found at Disney World. Please note that:
- A service animal is a dog or miniature horse that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.
- Service animals must be under the control of the owner at all times and should remain on a leash or in a harness. Staff members are not able to take control of service animals.
- Only trained service animals are permitted inside Snowcat Ridge. Emotional support animals, comfort animals and pets are not permitted at Snowcat Ridge.
- Service animals must be housebroken. Service animals are required to behave and not bark, growl, jump up on or lunge at other guests or staff members.
- Corrective action must be taken if the service animal is not behaving appropriately.
- Due to the nature of the attraction, service animals are not be permitted to ride on Snowy Slopes.
- Service animals must remain on the floor and not on dining chairs or tables in food and beverage locations.
- Service animals are allowed in the spectator areas of the Crystal Ribbon and Arctic Igloo that are not covered by ice or snow. Similar to Florida Department of Health guidelines at public swimming pools, service animals are not allowed in or on water features (whether liquid, frozen or in snow form). Consequently, service animals may not proceed onto the ice itself at the Crystal Ribbon or onto the snow itself in the Arctic Igloo.
